Instructional Videos & Tips from Experts for Youth Sports
The St. Albert Athletic Association started offering the SAY Soccer program in the Fall 2007. The program is for 2nd & 3rd grade boys & girls who are St. Albert the Great parishioners or enrolled at St. Albert School. This is a natural progression from our most popular Peewee sport "Soccer Stars". Soccer Stars will still be offered to Young 5's through first grade.
SAY home games will be played on St. Albert's very own Stags Field. Practices begin early August, and games go from late August through early October.

SAY SOCCER PHILOSOPHY
The Soccer Association for Youth (SAY) was formed to provide an organization within which children could learn and play soccer, the world's most popular sport. The fact that any size player can be successful at the game and the modest expense required to field a team, make it possible for many children to participate in organized competition. These factors, plus the enthusiasm of the children once they have played the game, have resulted in a rapid growth of the SAY Program.
It is the function of SAY to provide :
    Guidance and instruction for new participants
    An organizational structure to form leagues and schedule games;
    and to prescribe rules and regulations which will ensure safe, enjoyable and fair competition.
Several of the SAY regulations have been written especially to implement this philosophy. The overall objective of SAY is maximum participation with even competition at the various age levels.
